What's my Level?

This is a really hard question and sometimes it takes a few sessions to really gauge what a new student's level is.  However, the Council of Europe have produced the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, specifying the competences a student should have at every level, right up to a fully fluent, native-speaker level. And this is not just orally but also in terms of understanding and writing.
